Maybe you could do another story on our NY-22 Congresswoman and Civil Air Patrol [Congressional Squadron] member Claudia Tenney who seems to have come unglued. She recently stated in an interview that “It’s interesting that so many of these people that commit the mass murders end up being Democrats, but the media doesn’t talk about that.”

In response, Richard L. Hanna who is Tenney’s GOP NY-22 predecessor told WIBX radio in Utica that Tenney’s original comments amounted to “hate speech” and that she should apologize for them.

As someone who has been through all of Civil Air Patrol’s corporate leadership and ethics training, I think Rep. Hanna was on to something when he stated that:

“The Republican Party had gone to the far extremes on social issues. They’ve become judgmental and sanctimonious and authoritarian on their approach to people.”

Tenney’s behavior and statements along with those she is sucking up to, are going to cause our nation to be weakened even further as a result of extreme swings of backlash that will happen in response.

    Can you help us expose Ron Johnson’s vote on Net Neutrality?

  2. “New York Wing is extremely grateful to Congresswoman Tenney for her continued support of the Civil Air Patrol. Her leadership on the letter of support to the Subcommittee on Defense Appropriations has been nothing short of outstanding. We are proud to have her as a member of our Congressional Squadron,” said New York Wing Commander, Col. Thomas Carello.

  3. Yeah, Tenney sure is a political mess of hot mashed potato. On creepy CAP congressional members, you should also do a story on CAP Lt Col Trent Franks our former Arizona congressman (AZ-2nd) who was forced out back in December for sexual harassment and trying to get his aides to bear his children. Civil Air Patrol is full of filthy people, and yes, Franks is still a member.

    • Don’t forget about CAP Lt Col Rick Renzi of Arizona’s 1st Cong. District. Congressman Renzi was convicted on 17 counts of corruption. The charges included conspiracy, wire fraud, money laundering, extortion, and insurance fraud. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison.

    The latest news story on CAP News web site about the 50th anniversary of the congressional squadron is a reprint from the April 2011 CAP Volunteer News Magazine. They made it sound like it was something new. Frauds.

  5. Civil Air Patrol’s Congressional Squadron is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and the birthday bash has already begun. Today, the squadron has 574 members, with over 200 currently serving in Congress. Squadron members expect to name a new commander soon to replace Harkin.

    Some suggestions for commander:
    * Corrine Brown
    * Hillary Clinton
    * John Conyers
    * Al Franklin
    * Bob Menendez
    * Aaron Schock
    * Anthony Weiner

  6. The GOP is going to lose with Tenney.

  7. I’m a Republican and CAP member from New York and I am ashamed you claim to represent us. Another demagogue. Please just go away and quit making an fool of yourself.

    I am embarrassed to say that she represents my district; I did not vote for her as I find her continuous rhetoric appalling. I will be voting for Anthony Brindisi next election! Upstate NY needs a change!
