The newest member of Civil Air Patrol’s governing body, the Board of Governors [BoG], is Col Robert E. Corsi Jr, former assistant deputy chief of staff for manpower, personnel and services, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C.

Corsi, a retired member of the Senior Executive Service, comes to the BoG with a record of service dating back more than 40 years. He was appointed to the board by Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James.

Corsi’s term on the board started Tuesday, when he succeeded Col William A. Davidson, Jr.

“The BoG is proud to have someone with your background and experience helping us to determine the best road ahead for the future of Civil Air Patrol,” the board’s chairman, U.S. Army and CAP Col Jayson Altieri, told Corsi in a welcome letter.
