Colorado Wing Has New Commander

CAP Lt Col Celeste Gamache, who succeeded CAP Col William Aceves as Interim Colorado Wing Commander on September 16th 2015 has been appointed Commander of Colorado Wing and promoted to the rank of CAP Colonel.

In the past, CAP Col Gamache has been active in Colorado politics.   The last election for the Colorado House of Representatives was held on November 4th 2014 with Democrat Paul Rosenthal running against Celeste R. Gamache in House District 9.  Rosenthal defeated Gamache with 62.3% of the vote.  In 2012 Rosenthal defeated Gamache with 64% of the vote.

Three years ago CAP Col Gamache had been profiled in a Colorado Pols article entitled “The 80s Called, Celeste Gamache. They Want their Video Back.”  Gamache had the benefit of  guidance from former Colorado State Representative Ruth Prendergast, an octogenarian, who served as her campaign manager.
