  1. A U.S. Army veteran and Stranahan were talking and Stranahan, in a condescending manner was telling the U.S. Army veteran that the U.S. Army doesn’t have dress blues. Stranahan kept telling the Army veteran he was wrong, then after the Army veteran told him that there are several times, William Stranahan became irate and told the Army veteran to leave the VFW 449 in West Warwick, R.I. This is unacceptable behavior by anyone, Let alone the VFW 449 commander.

  2. The FBI background is only processed when they first join up, but the CAP claims this is a preventive measure when in fact it is NOT. There are NO annual checks.

For example, if Col. Joe Blow commits a felony, ends up in prison and gets out, but maintains his annual membership fees, the CAP will never know that he is a sexual predator preying on YOUR kids. Since members usually look the other way fearing reprisal, it may be years before he is reported to the cops. In a recent incident, for over 15 years, Governale molested several cadets at CAP events while the CAP members did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

When was the last time a CAP wing or region commander was publicly terminated???? NEVER. They always give a free pass to their own pond scum, but punish those who report them.
