VT Air Guard Commander Jackman Uses Air Force F-16 to Snatch a Booty Call

[Editor’s Note: One of our readers brought this to our attention. Vermont Gov. Phil Scott is expressing his support for the Legislature to investigate the culture Vermont National Guard.]

Col. Thomas “TJ” Jackman, the married commander of the Vermont Air National Guard, was forced to resign after he used an F-16 jet to fly to a work conference and a meeting with a female Army colonel who worked at the Pentagon. They had been exchanging flirtatious messages. His callsign is “Snatch”.

When this was discovered by his superiors, Col Jackman was stripped of his F-16 and required to fly home on a commercial flight.

The Vermont Air Guard has recently fallen under a high level of scrutiny with VTDigger.com revealing what they have dubbed a “flying fraternity of sexed-up renegade pilots who abuse alcohol, mistreat women and receive special treatment by superiors”.

  1. You might want to add my summary story of the accusations of coerced sex out of the security squadron in WI ANG 115th Fighter Wing. MSgt Ellis “snitched” to Sen. Tammy Baldwin, at least that’s how some are mis-characterizing it.

[Admin: We’ll add it. Are you from Eau Claire Composite or are you just really well hydrated?]

  2. Has no one on your staff noticed that Col TJ Snatch Jackman and our failed former BoG Chair Alteri are both 1980’s alumni from of the same second tier Vermont military school – check out their LinkedIn profiles. If these two represent the type of military graduate Norwich produces then god help CAP and the military. Alteri is in the last years Spring Volunteer magazine and at the National Board pushing his school on cadets, why is this not a conflict of interest as a BoG member?

  3. Thanks. More. [link redacted]

[Admin: Got it, will use soon.]
